Home Health Aide – Full Time pay per visit

Care Edition is currently seeking an experienced HHA full-time pay per visit opportunity to complete home care visits to clients located throughout Morris County, NJ. As a Home Health Aide, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides in-home and skilled nursing care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive care in the comfort of their home.

Requirements:

• Have successfully completed a recognized Home Health Aide training course and be certified to work as a Home Health Aide
• Have at least one year of work experience as a Home Health Aide
• Meet all state requirements.
• Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.
• Have a criminal background check completed.

Job Responsibilities for HHA – Home Health Aides:

• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Activities of daily living
• Medication assistance
• Oral feeding
• Assisting with ambulation
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Nail care
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
